Every September the runway on Coronado's Naval Air Station North Island (NASNA) is transformed into a racetrack for Fleet Week's Coronado Speed Festival. The Speed Festival car races are heldt== to honor those in military service.
Friday evening, before the all-things-racing weekend, Admiral Myers held a VIP dinner for those involved with the Fleet Week Speed Festival in the backyard of his home on the Navy Base.

The bouquets were made of white carnations to resemble a frothy vanilla milkshake, and a red button mum was added to the top to recreate the finishing touch to any ice cream dish, the cherry.
