Embellishmint Floral & Event Design was thrilled to participate in another Wedding Party Bridal Show, produced by Pamela Noxon. Being that we were given such a great unique space at the Hyatt, La Jolla, we decided to showcase a ceremony site and partnered up with Lauren Sharon Vintage Rentals to outfit the location.
My partner-in-crime for many design projects and inspiration is Ann Strobel with Ann's Plans, the two of us scouted our site and decided that the existing awnings at the venue should complement the design scheme and color palette in some way. This is always a challenge for brides --- and a DECOR TIP to take into consideration --- when envisioning your special day design, work with the existing elements of the venue and try to make it cohesive. The blue/yellow color in the shades covering the window treatments somehow inspired us to take those lemons...and well, make them into lemonade.
Pucker up, baby! And enjoy our sweet and sour theme, full of bright yellow sunflowers, blue hydrangea, mouthwatering lemons and candy treats!
