Set on the sandy beaches of the historic Hotel Del Coronado magic was made with the union of Kendal & Harley.
Sunset skies proved to be in sync with the sapphire blue chosen by the bride to be the main color of the event to match her brilliant cushion cut sapphire engagement ring.
Every
detail was perfection from the 100 single blooms of fragrant
stephanotis with sapphire gem centers placed amongst delicate hydrangea
to provide the bride a stunning bridal bouquet fit for a princess. The
stem was fully wrapped with rhinestones with the couples monogram
highlighted in mini frames attached to the handle.
Bridesmaids wore grey silk gowns with a sheen of sapphire blue weft holding bouquets of cattelya orchids and roses. Groom and his men wore deep charcoal suits with platinum silk ties. And of course the show stoppers were the adorable flowergirls in white with mink stoles of smoke.
Wrought iron gates were fabricated in the same style as seen on the grounds at the Windsor Cottage welcoming wedding guests into the ceremony site on the Windsor Lawn overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Strands of blue sapphire crystals draped throughout the white hydrangea and dendrobium & phalaenopsis orchids.
"flower boxes' wrapped in platinum pintuck fabric lined the aisle adorned with ocean blue hydrangea and accents of rhinestone trim with pearl buttons. Lanterns in weathered bronze finished the installment in a halo of candle light as the sun began to set for the dusk ceremony.

Entertainment was a must and the talents of Strolling Tables were a fantastic way to add that extra "wow' gliding through the event offering horsd'oeuvres, cocktails and passing out party favors. Festivities continued with this whimsical duo.
Kendal & Harley stole away during cocktail hour for some stunning photo ops....these are some of the most awesome images ever by the talented John Riedy Photography.
The Reception was hosted in the Crown Ballroom where guest were greeted with a stunning display of silver manzanitas draped in strands of crystals on a silver rose patterned linen laden with sapphire blue place cards
Crystal candelabras were set on bar height banquet tables layered in dark platinum linen with clear plexiglass bar stool to give the large ballroom several layers of seating.
Silver manzanitas branches strung with strands of crystals highlighted
with glass globes shimmering with a layer of sapphire gems and candle
light sat on guest tables covered in varying shades of cobalt blue to
platinum.
Marilyn Monroe made an appearance to woo the crowd in a renditions of songs from the famous movie shot at the Del "Some Like It Hot!!!"
Sweet Cheeks Baking Company
supplied this multi layered beauty with a replica of the brides
sapphire engagement ring. A custom cake pedestal was designed by Enticing Tables to anchor the show piece.
