Special details bring personality to events, making them unique, fun, and memorable. Graphic designers Jack and Darcy were big fans of Superman and Princess Peach, elements which you can imagine might be a challenge to incorporate into an elegant wedding. We decided to focus on the Man of Steel's color palette to incorporate our design style with the couple's passions, from the electric blue backdrop of the venue to the Manzanita centerpieces. And don't forget the crystals! No Fortress of Solitude is complete without at least a few gleaming crystals.

50 Shades of RED - Feast on St. Valentine's
This year's theme was great works of literature (and we believe 50 Shades is JUST that) which was held at the public library in downtown San Diego. Stacy Childers and the House of Style outfitted the gorgeous models, who took turns laying on our bed of roses, covered in chocolate covered strawberries! Literally THOUSANDS of rose petals embellished the stunning table from AFR's collection, along with black bookshelves displaying more passionate details - those we imagine would be a part of Ana and Christian's dinner party at home.
Once again, working alongside my fierce and fabulous partner-in-crime Ann Strobel of Ann's Plans, we created a masterpiece that just screams for attention and was quite the showstopper for AFR's event.
Enjoy - Laters Baby!

Rosa & Sergio's Wedding: The Color of LOVE
Rosa and Sergio are such a sweet, romantic couple, full of love. It was such a pleasure working with them to create their wedding day floral decor, which was such a vibrant display of color with simplistically-perfect details. Rosa wanted a wedding design with a color palette of coral, cloud and sea foam. What a glorious color combination for us to create their floral centerpieces full of white and green hydrangea, salmon-colored roses, tea roses, babies breath and dusty miller. The bridesmaids bouquets were complete with the addition of luscious gerberas that perfectly complemented their stunning one-shouldered gowns.
